I am proud to serve as official host of the 8th Annual DEAFestival held within my Council District.
My staff and I are proud of the volunteer work that we do to help the DEAFestival Committee produce this wonderful event that not only generates greater public awareness of the Southern California deaf community, but offers a venue for community gathering and information for deaf children, adults and their families.

Last year's event was a huge success due to the generous contributions of our sponsors and partners as well as the countless hours of effort of our committee and many volunteers. I encourage you to invite your friends and families to DEAFestival so that they can experience this wonderful event and learn how to better engage with the deaf community.
