C. J. Jones
C. J. Jones will be the M.C. for the DEAFestival 2009 as well as the Deaf Got Talent! Contest.
He is an internationally known deaf entertainer who has been delighting audiences young and old with his unique style of visual imagery and storytelling. Other roles include producer, director, writer, actor, comedian, teacher, and motivational speaker.
CJ has traveled with the National Theatre of the Deaf and toured with "Children of a Lesser God" on Broadway. He has also appeared on NBC's "A Different World", the PBS television shows "Sesame Street" and "Rainbow's End", and is the host of "Happy Hands Kids Klub". "I Wrote That!", a show of skits and stories written by children and featuring CJ, will come out this year.
CJ has toured extensively to primary and secondary schools and college campuses. As a black artist and role model, CJ promotes messages of self-esteem and is proud to promote increased awareness and sensitivity of deaf traditions to people of all races. He is truly is a positive role model for all deaf children and people around the world."
