Volunteers Needed!
Come on out for the Annual Deaf Festival at Woodley Park in Van Nuys and help us celebrate Deaf Awareness Month! Councilman Cardenas and the City of Los Angeles are proud to host this event for the 6th consecutive year. Please join us in making this dream a reality.
Deaf Festival Volunteers:
On September 26, 2009, you will be assigned to work in one of the following areas…
Positions needed for this event are between the hours of 7am and 5pm. You may volunteer for the entire day or just a few hours.
Signing is not a mandatory requirement for participation, however if you are not a fluent signer please indicate on the sign-up form your skill level in conversational ASL so that we can appropriately place you on the day of the event.
